What if a return didn't actually get returned to me?
If a buyer initiates a return and you decide to issue a refund—either partial or full—without requiring the item to be sent back, Flipwise allows you to mark the order as "not returned." By doing so, the item will be considered discarded, ensuring its cost is accurately accounted for when calculating your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
To do this, visit the item's detail page and click the three-dot action button in the top right. Then click "Not returned."
To reverse this, click the three-dot action button again and and click "Unmark as discarded."
Note: the item will still appear under the "Returned" index view in Flipwise even if the item was not physically returned to you.
