What is Realized ROI and Realized Net Profit?

On each Purchase Location detail page, you’ll now see two new metrics: ROI (realized) and Net Profit (realized).

These values show how profitable a purchase location has been based only on items that have already sold, meaning the cost of unsold items are not considered. By focusing solely on realized sales, these metrics give you a more accurate view of what your actual returns look like so far—without the distortion of unsold inventory still sitting on the shelf.

You’ll also see the standard ROI and Net Profit metrics alongside them.

  • ROI and Net Profit include all related inventory (both sold and unsold), which helps you understand the total potential of that location.
  • ROI (realized) and Net Profit (realized) include only sold items, giving you a snapshot of your current, tangible results.

Comparing these two sets of metrics makes it easy to see how each purchase location is performing now versus its total expected performance once everything sells.
