See Where Your Buyers Are Located
The "Where your buyers are" map gives you a geographic view of where your eBay sales are going. It appears on your Sales & Insights screen and updates automatically based on the date range you have selected. It also appears on your Flipwise home page showing the location of orders over the last 24 hours.

What you're looking at
The map displays a pin for every location where at least one of your buyers is based. Pins are sized and colored by volume. A small pin represents a single order, while larger, brighter pins indicate more orders from that area. When multiple buyers are clustered close together geographically, the map groups them into a single cluster and shows the combined order count.
Below the map, a one-line summary highlights where the bulk of your sales are going — for example, "Sold 48 products on eBay across Missouri and California."
Clicking a pin
Click any pin or cluster to see a breakdown of what sold to buyers in that area. For each location you'll see:
- The product title and thumbnail, linking to the full product detail page
- The sale price
- The quantity sold (shown when more than one unit went to that location)
- The date of the sale
Up to 25 products are shown per location. If more were sold there, a count of the remaining items is displayed below the list.
International orders and eBay International Shipping
For orders fulfilled through eBay International Shipping (eIS), the map shows the buyer's actual country — not the eBay shipping hub the package passes through. So an order shipped to a buyer in Germany appears in Germany, not at the intermediary eBay facility.
In some cases eBay does not provide a full address for international buyers (postal code may be omitted for certain countries), so the pin for those orders may be placed at the country or city level rather than the precise postal code level. This is a limitation of the address data eBay makes available for cross-border orders.
Things to know
- Date range limit — the map is available when your selected date range is one year or less. For longer date ranges, the map is not shown. Narrow your date range to bring it back.
- eBay orders only — the map reflects eBay sales only. Manual orders are not included since they do not have buyer address data.
- Pin precision — when a full postal code is available, the pin is placed at that postal code. When it isn't, Flipwise falls back to city, then state, then country — placing the pin at the center of whichever level was resolved. A pin placed at the center of a state, for example, means Flipwise knew the buyer's state but not their city or zip code. International orders through eBay International Shipping are more likely to resolve at a lower precision level since eBay does not always provide a full address for cross-border buyers.
