How to Exclude Individual Items from Being Relisted

If auto-relisting is enabled for your entire store, you may want to exclude specific items from being relisted, or prevent them from promoting, auto-reducing price, or change their frequency. All this can be done through the Flipwise interface in a few different ways.

Method 1: Manage Relists

If you go to your Manage->Relists page, you will see all of your items that are Scheduled to be relisted, have been Relisted, or are excluded it in some way. It should look like this:

At the end of each row is a small "x". Clicking on this icon will exclude the item from any relisting, including auto-promoting and auto-price reduction. If you choose the filter to show all of the items that have one of those features disabled, the "x" will instead be a "+":

Clicking on this icon will add the item back to the relist schedule. Note that if you are adding it back to the relist schedule, it will also automatically be added to your auto-promote and auto-reduce settings. If the item has been disabled for one of those features specifically, you can add that feature back to the item specifically by looking under the list of "Auto-promote disabled" or "Auto-reduce disabled" and clicking on the respective "+" icons.

Method 2: Item Detail Page

The other place where you can manage individual item relisting settings is in the Item Detail page. Click on the item that you would like to change, and if it is included in the relist schedule, you will see something like this:

Note that the second line could also show an upcoming price reduction instead. In this case it will only have the Disable option for Price Reduction. From this interface, you can do the following:

• Line 1 (Auto-Relist), "Edit" - This lets you change the frequency of relisting for this specific item. For example, if your normal frequency is every month, you can change it to every 3 months for this specific item.
• Line 1 (Auto-Relist), "Disable" - This will disable the item from being relisted at all, which also excludes it from being auto-promoted or from auto-price reduction.
• Line 2 (Auto-Price Reduction), "Edit" - This lets you change the overall relist settings. Note that it does not let you change the price reduction for this individual item.
• Line 2 (Auto-Price Reduction), "Disable for this item" - This option lets you disable price reduction specifically for this item. Your overall price reduction rules will stay in place.
• Line 3 (Auto-Promote), "Disable" - This option lets you exclude this item from being auto promoted after relist. Note that if the item was already promoted and you then exclude it, it will stop being promoted upon the next relist.

Currently, any excluding of items from relist policies must be done on an individual basis. We have plans in the future to add more options, such as bulk exclusion.
