How do I log mileage in Flipwise?

To log miles or kilometers driven for tax purposes, open the Flipwise Ledger and click the green "+ New" button.

You will be asked to select adding either a general business expense or to log mileage. Click the option to log mileage for a business trip.

You will be asked to provide the date of the trip and either the starting and ending odometer readings, or the total distance driven. If you provide a starting and ending odometer reading, the total distance driven will be automatically calculated for you.

Once you have entered the total distance driven, Flipwise will automatically calculate your tax deduction for the trip based on the current year's mileage rate, localized to the country associated with your eBay account.

Please note that some countries apply different mileage rates depending on the total distance driven within a given year. While Flipwise sets a default rate based on your location, please ensure that you're using the correct rate for each trip according to your country’s regulations and any thresholds that may affect your deduction.
