How do I bulk edit multiple items at once?

Flipwise will allow you to edit multiple items at the same time, specifically to change the following fields:

• Storage Location
• Purchase Price
• Purchase Location
• Purchase Date
• Shipping Cost (for Sales)

To do so, first select multiple items at once. When you hover over a thumbnail picture while looking at your list of items, the image will turn into a grey checkmark.  Click that checkmark and it will turn blue to indicate that the item is selected. Or, if you are on mobile, simply touch the thumbnail image to select it. Click on other checkmarks to select all items you would like to edit:

You can also use the checkbox next to the Product column header to either select everything on the current page, or deselect everything already selected. Note: Currently you can only select up to a single full page at a time. Selections will not carry over from page to page.

Once you have all of the items selected that you would like to edit, a new "Edit" button will appear in the top right corner, next to the Filter button.  Clicking this button will give you several options of values to change:

Choose which field you would like to edit, and a new dialog box will appear. Enter the new value, and click "Apply". This will overwrite any values that are currently filled in for those items. You will see a progress bar as the items are reviewed and changed, and a message will indicate when they have been completed, along with any possible errors.  Click OK.

If you are changing the Purchase Price, you have two different options:

You can either set the cost per item exactly, or you can set an overall cost, and Flipwise will split the cost as evenly as possible among the selected items. There may be some variation by $0.01 if the value doesn't split evenly.  When you enter in one value, the other value will automatically populate with the calculated amount. Again, click Apply to set the Purchase Price for all Selected items.
